There’s something exhilarating about participating in a spin class. The music, the instructors, the energy—each element is designed to get your body moving (and get those legs pedaling). If you’re looking for a new cycle studio in the St. Louis region, check out these four spin class options.
CycleBar is a popular spin class studio offering a schedule full of sessions with great music and instructors. Each day offers something a little different, with some classes even featuring themes centered around genre and artist (e.g. Taylor Swift vs. Noah Kahan). Memberships start at $69 per month for four rides monthly and range up to $159 per month, which permits unlimited rides. Participants can also purchase packages if they prefer paying per ride.

Power Up offers a different approach to cycling classes. This Chesterfield studio uses its own Power Up Training System, which acknowledges that everyone responds differently to training. As a result, highly-trained coaches work with athletes to design fitness programming specifically tailored to each individual’s goals, needs, schedule, and experience. Power Up also offer traditional classes for $30 per session, and $250 for 10 classes. During these sessions, coaches don’t actually ride with the participants—they coach! The studio provides clinics, performance camps, private group training, bike fittings, nutrition counseling, and more. See the website for a full schedule. 636-875-4334, 17233 Chesterfield Airport.

The local JCC offers several types of spin classes of varying lengths and energy levels throughout the day. That means there’s a session that fits your needs whenever you’re available. Simply pull up the class schedule to find a class for you. The best part? Indoor cycling classes are included in J memberships, so you won’t have to set up a new account or pay extra if you’re already a member. 314-432-5700, 2 Millstone Campus.
Think of TruFusion STL less as a traditional cycle bar and more as a holistic workout facility that can meet a person’s fitness needs, whatever those might be. This approach is ideal for people who prefer to mix up their routine with different workouts depending on their mood or goals. There are two locations in the St. Louis area—one in Clayton and another at City Foundry STL—and each includes classes for weightlifting, stretching, Pilates, barre, cycling, and more. Members simply have to reserve ahead of time to secure their spot. Memberships are available in monthly ($139) and class packs ($25 for a drop-in or $210 for 10 sessions). Plus, the first class is free for new members.
