The Muny will welcome contemporary classics and old favorites for its 2025 season

Today, the lineup for the 107th season at The Muny was unveiled during a YouTube livestream led by Muny president and CEO Kwofe Coleman alongside artistic director and executive producer Mike Isaacson. As theater enthusiasts from St. Louis and beyond eagerly shared their predictions and wishes for the upcoming productions, the anticipation grew until the exciting 2025 roster was laid out. This season aims to build on the success of the previous year, which featured hits like Les Miserables and Waitress, and will showcase four Muny premieres, two much-anticipated returns, as well as a beloved jukebox musical.

Bring It On: June 16–22

Kickstarting the 107th season is Bring It On, a dynamic musical inspired by the celebrated series of cheerleading films. According to the Muny, this Broadway sensation was among the most highly demanded shows from the audience survey. The show presents an original storyline with music by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Tom Kitt, lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Amanda Green, and a book by Jeff Whitty, utilizing the theater’s expansive stage to deliver breathtaking athletic displays.

Come from Away: June 26–July 2

Come from Away, the second Muny premiere of the season, recounts the real-life story of 23 planes that were rerouted to Gander, Newfoundland, after the events of 9/11, and the community’s incredible generosity toward the unexpected visitors. This poignant narrative of resilience and togetherness in the wake of disaster is crafted by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and it promises to be a profound experience.

Frozen: July 6–14

This season’s family-friendly production brings Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and Olaf the Snowman to the Muny stage for nine enchanting performances. The musical adaptation of the hit 2013 film features 13 new songs alongside beloved classics from the original soundtrack, including “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Let It Go.”

Evita: July 18–24

Returning after nearly 40 years, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic Evita chronicles the remarkable journey of Argentine First Lady Eva Perón as she rises to prominence. This timeless musical has seen numerous revivals, each offering a fresh perspective on its complex protagonist. Experience one of Lloyd-Webber’s most exquisite scores performed live by the talented musicians in the Muny pit during this eagerly awaited comeback.

Dear Evan Hansen: July 28–August 3

A touching exploration of identity, mental health, and belonging, this musical won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, after its Broadway premiere in 2016. Another Muny debut, Dear Evan Hansen features a book by Steven Levenson and music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

La Cage Aux Folles: August 8–14

This comedic musical returns to the Muny nearly four decades later, originally adapted from a celebrated French play that inspired the 1996 film The Birdcage, starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. With a charming score by Jerry Herman and impressive choreography, the plot follows the comical situations that arise when a son brings his fiancée’s traditional family to meet his parents—a gay nightclub proprietor and his drag queen partner.

Jersey Boys: August 18–24

This modern classic and Muny favorite narrates the incredible journey of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Featuring an audience-pleasing collection of 1960s hits, Jersey Boys is set for a triumphant return after its last performance in the summer of 2018.

Season tickets will be available for purchase online or at the Muny box office (1 Theatre) starting March 10. Individual performance tickets for the 2025 season will go on sale May 19.
