On April 15, 2026, St. Louis Magazine organized a Family Playdate, sponsored by Royal Banks of Missouri, at Betty’s Books. Families came together for a delightful and interactive morning filled with storytelling, music, and play. The event included a vibrant musical storytime that encouraged children to listen, sing along, and dive into the enchanting world of books.
Children had a blast exploring the area with toys, making new friends, and engaging with each other in a friendly, fun atmosphere. The blend of storytelling and music provided an engaging experience that inspired creativity while keeping the kids entertained. Meanwhile, parents and guardians enjoyed coffee from the café.
Following storytime, families had the chance to browse the bookstore and discover new titles to take home, extending the joy of the event. We were also thrilled to have Ronald McDonald House St. Louis with us, adding to the significance of the day for our community.
